PdfPress is a macOS utility application developed by Try Hard. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how PdfPress handles your data.
PdfPress does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
All PDF processing (compression, merging, splitting, conversion, watermarking, password protection) is performed entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded to any server.
PdfPress stores the following data locally on your Mac:
PdfPress may request permission to send local notifications to inform you when long-running operations complete. This is entirely optional and can be disabled in System Settings at any time. No notification data is sent to any server.
PdfPress runs in the macOS App Sandbox. It can only access files you explicitly select or drag into the app. It cannot access your files, contacts, calendars, or other data without your direct action.
PdfPress does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks that collect data. It relies exclusively on Apple system frameworks (PDFKit, AppKit, SwiftUI).
PdfPress does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Since PdfPress collects no data, changes are unlikely.
